How to Use This Activity Pack
Begin with Worksheets 1 and 2. Ask the child to count the complete groups of ten first—10, 20—then count on using the extra dots. Reinforce the pictures with bundled straws, building bricks or counters grouped into tens.
Continue with one application sheet per short session. Encourage children to explain how the tens digit helped them compare or order numbers. Use the final check-up independently and without a time limit, then revisit any uncertain skill with practical objects.
